About the event
Yung Pueblo reminds us “I am not here to compete; I am here to grow and be free.” As we live our lives, we learn that the only constant in our life is change! Some life changes that we experience might be very small and easy; others might be huge and very difficult. If we can meet all life changes with flexibility and presence, we will be able to maintain contentment and peace in the midst of the uncertainty associated with all changes.
In this 2-hour program, the three stages of life changes – separation, transition, and integration – will be
introduced. The supportive role that mindfulness can play in each of these stages will be explored.
Through mindfulness exercises such as meditation, participants will reflect on how mindfulness can be
supportive during specific life changes such as becoming a parent, career changes, and retirement.
